At the recent June 27, 2024 “Gawad EMB”, the local government unit of the Municipality of Pavia, Iloilo was feted by the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) – Western Visayas for its invaluable support and vital partnership extended to the Bureau’s initiatives and projects. Part of EMB’s Certificate of Recognition commending Pavia read: “Your dedicated efforts in making our endeavors possible and successful are well appreciated and reflect the environmental stewardship that your organization upholds.” On behalf of Pavia, Engr. Jolepe Suerte, the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office chief, received the certificate. The “Gawad EMB” event was led by EMB Region 6 director, Atty. Ramar Niel Pascua.
