“IS Enchong Dee still a Kapamilya?”
This was the question among fans of the 29-year-old actor over the weekend, after he made his debut appearance in the noontime program “Eat Bulaga.”
The production airs on GMA-7, the rival of Dee’s professional home of 12 years, ABS-CBN, or the Kapamilya network.
On Instagram, Dee shared photos of his guesting, among them with Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, Ruby Rodriguez, Paolo Ballesteros, and Alden Richards.
Also seen in the set of photos are guest Jackie Lou Blanco and Janine Gutierrez, with whom Dee participated in a game segment.
Gutierrez and Blanco, both contract artists of GMA-7, are Dee’s co-stars in his upcoming film “Elise,” produced by Regal Films.
Dee’s guest appearance on “Eat Bulaga” was part of the promotional cycle for the movie – and was not an indication of an impending transfer, going by his answers to his fans on Instagram.
He replied affirmatively to being asked numerous times if he is still a Kapamilya, and responded with heart emojis to one fan noted that ABS-CBN’s support for his film went as far as allowing him to appear on a rival program.
Dee just renewed his contract with ABS-CBN last week. At the time, he said he was looking forward to new roles on TV and the big screen. (ABS-CBN News)
