MANILA – John Paul Erram sees his transfer to the TNT KaTropa as an opportunity to win his first PBA championship with their loaded roster ahead of the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup.
While he does not want to leave the NLEX Road Warriors, the 6-foot-8 national men’s basketball team big man said he is looking forward to play for the PBA team that drafted him in 2013.
Erram arrived to KaTropa in a controversial three-team trade. The Road Warriors received Rabeh Al Hussaini and Anthony Semerad and future draft picks, while the Blackwater Elite got Eduardo Daquioag, Marion Magat and Yousef Taha.
At KaTropa, Erram will form an all-Gilas Pilipinas starting roster with Jayson Castro, Roger Pogoy, Jeth Troy Rosario and Bobby Ray Parks Jr. but he still tempers expectations.
Lagi naman silang contenders,” Erram said.
