BACOLOD City – Police raided a house in Barangay Jonobjonob, Escalante City, Negros Occidental, leading to the recovery of a loose firearm.
A .38-caliber revolver and several bullets were seized from 29-year-old resident Romulo Saguire, police said.
The police conducted the raid on the strength of a search warrant around 7:10 a.m. on Aug. 14.
The suspect was detained in the lockup facility of the Escalante City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
