BACOLOD City – Not only suspected shabu but a gun was also confiscated from a subject of drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Bagong Silang, Escalante City, Negros Occidental, police said.
The 28-year-old Perlito Sico of Barangay Balintawak, Escalante City landed in jail.
He was arrested after he sold suspected shabu to an undercover police officer for P500 on Jan. 13.
Two sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from Sico. When further frisked, the officers also found a .38-caliber revolver loaded with live bullets from the suspect.
Sico was facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
He also faces charges for violation of the election gun ban./PN
