BACOLOD City – A job hire of the local government of Escalante City, Negros Occidental was arrested in an antidrug buy–bust operation of the police.
The 38-year-old Lindley Marman Alcos was taken to the Escalante City police station after an undercover officer bought from him a sachet of suspected shabu for P1,020 on Oct. 11.
Two more sachets were seized from the suspect’s possession, according to Police Major Gil Despi, Escalante City police chief.
The sting operation was carried out in Sitio Old Mabini, Barangay Mabini, Escalante City around 11:48 a.m.
