BACOLOD City – A 41-year-old man was nabbed in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Balintawak, Escalante City, Negros Occidental.
Five sachets of suspected shabu were seized from Romeo Apas, a police report showed.
Apas – resident of the village – was caught after he sold a sachet of suspected illegal drugs to an undercover cop for P500 around 5:20 p.m. on Aug. 31, it added.
The suspect was detained in the lockup facility of the Escalante City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
