BACOLOD City — Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) member Salvador Escalante was the No. 1 top performing SP member for the period July 1, 2013 to June 11, 2014.
Escalante of 2nd District sponsored 279 resolutions and eight ordinances, a report from the office of SP secretary Maki Angela Ascalon showed.
He was followed by Renato Malabor of 5th District, who sponsored 152 resolutions and two ordinances; Miller Serondo of 2nd District, 111 resolutions and five ordinances; Pedro Zayco Jr. of 6th District, 85 resolutions; and Alain Gatuslao of 5th District, 78 resolutions and five ordinances.
The other SP members and the corresponding number of measures they have sponsored are: Rolando Ponsica of 1st District – 34 resolutions, two ordinances; Victor Javellana of 4th District – 26 resolutions; Patrick Lacson of 3rd District – 19 resolutions, one ordinance; Renato Gustilo of 1st District – 16 resolutions; Jose Benito Alonso of 4th District – 12 resolutions; Raul Rivera of Philippine Councilors’ League–Negros Occidental – eight resolutions, one ordinance; Helen Zafra of 6th District – six resolutions; Johnna Ko of 3rd District – four resolutions; and Mark Cui of Association of Barangay Councils – one resolution./PN
