ILOILO City – Norberto Lusaya was charged with two counts of estafa in 1997. The 50-year-old hid from the authorities since, a police report showed.
On Monday – or some 20 years later – police arrested him in their barangay in Bantud, Dumangas, Iloilo.
Lusaya was taken to the Dumangas police station where he was detained after his arrest around 10 a.m.
Officers served him a warrant of arrest issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Evelio Ilanga.
Judge Ilanga set the bail at P14,000./PN
