ILOILO City – A 57-year-old resident of the component city of Passi in Iloilo province has been charged with estafa.
Police arrested the 57-year-old Nilo Senina on Thursday.
A police report described the local from Barangay Poblacion Ilaya as an employee of the local government of Passi.
Authorities have been searching for Senina for 14 years already, police said.
Officers served him a warrant of arrest for four counts of estafa charges at around 10:20 a.m. while at the Passi City Hall’s General Services Office, stated the police report.
Judge Gerardo Diaz of the Regional Trial Court Branch 68 issued the warrant against him. The judge did not grant him a bail bond.
