ILOILO City – Jevron Parohinog – the lone survivor in the killing of three young businessmen in Estancia, Iloilo two months ago – is not yet off the hook, according to the director of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO).

Police Colonel Noel Aliño said Parohinog may be included in the charge sheet.

Parohinog’s three entrepreneur-friends were shot to death on Sept. 14 in Barangay Pani-an, Estancia, Iloilo – Jan Paul Mark Bosque, Mark Libao and Chrysler Floyd Fernandes.

“Iba ang takbo ng ating investigation. We assured the victims’ family na ibibigay natin ang justice na gusto nila makamtan,” Aliño said.

The IPPO’s Special Investigation Task Group (SITG) “Palibosfer” already has several suspects, but their names are being withheld so as not to preempt the ongoing investigation.

Aliño said a complaint will be filed anytime once the needed papers are completed.

Parohinog had told the police that he and the three fatalities were onboard a white Isuzu MUX when attacked by motorcycle-riding gunmen around 12:30 a.m. on Sept. 14.

He also told the police that he is willing to stand as a witness./PN
