ROXAS City – An 18-year-old resident of Estancia, Iloilo was found dead in the house of relatives in Pilar, Capiz.
Jayson Wausan committed suicide by hanging, police said.
His relatives found him suspended from the ceiling with an electrical cord tied around his neck on Monday, said the police.
Wausan was taken to a district hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A resident of Barangay Lumbia, Estancia, Wausan was temporarily residing with relatives in Barangay Yating, Pilar, police said.
Authorities have yet to determine what pushed the 18-year-old to end his life.
It was learned that he told his relatives that he will commit suicide that day but they thought he was just kidding. Minutes later, they found Wausan lifeless./PN
