BACOLOD City – A 15-year-old boy died after he was shot at a wake past midnight yesterday in Barangay Estefania.
Regie John Semillano, a resident of Estefania, sustained a gunshot wound on the back, a police report showed.
He was pronounced “dead on arrival” at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital, the report added.
Semillano’s companion Dominic Espelosa – also 15 years old and resident of Estefania – was shot, too.
With a gunshot wound on his left hand, Espelosa was currently recuperating at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital.
Officers from Police Station 4 said two motorcycle-riding suspects – who were still unidentified as of this writing – were responsible for the shooting.
The police have yet to determine the motive in the incident./PN
