ILOILO City – An ex-convict has been arrested once again for stealing a motorcycle.
Rizalito Laguna, 43, of Zone 3, Brgy. Veterans Village here was collared yesterday morning by Iloilo City Police Station 1 (PP1) cops at his house.
Recovered from the suspect was a black Yamaha Mio motorcycle (Plate No. 3947XG) owned by Josefina Quimsing of Brgy. Salvacion, Habog-habog, Molo district.
The motorcycle was parked in front of Cabalum Western College on Iznart St. on Monday but disappeared.
According to Chief Insp. Alexander Rosales of PP1, Laguna was identified through a closed circuit television camera in the area.
Aside from the motorcycle, also recovered from Laguna were other motorcycles believed to be stolen, too.
According to Rosales, Laguna had served a 14-year prison sentence at the national penitentiary in Muntinlupa City for robbery./PN
