ILOILO City – A retired cop and his wife were wounded in a shooting incident in Barangay Matagnop, Dao, Capiz.
Gerardo and Norma Enesario of Barangay Ilas Norte, Dao sustained gunshot wounds on the legs, a police report showed.
Tagged suspect was resident Jimmy Dordas, a member of the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency.
According to police investigators, Gerardo and Norma were moving things from inside of their old house when they were approached by Dordas.
A heated argument then ensued, prompting Dordas to fire at the victims around 9:10 a.m. on July 18.
Gerardo and Norma were rushed to the Dao District Hospital for medical treatment.
The suspect, on the other hand, surrendered and was detained in the lockup facility of the Dao municipal police station, facing charges./PN
