BACOLOD City – A former police officer was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay 32.
Fifteen sachets of suspect shabu valued at around P70,000 was recovered from former Police Corporal Christian Ian Dingcong, 44, of Barangay Mansilingan.
Dingcong – who went absent without official leave – was caught Saturday after he sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover cop for P500.
He was detained in the lockup facility of Police Station 1, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
