CAPIZ – A former member of the New People’s Army (NPA) surrendered to the 2nd Capiz Mobile Force Company (CMFC) in Barangay Manhoy, Dao town over the weekend.
Police said the surrenderee, whose name was withheld, was a resident of Barangay Bungsuan, Dumarao.
The CMFC added that he was a member of Kahublagan Nang Manguguma sa Capiz (KAMACA) from 2005 to 2013.
The former rebel is now under the custody of the authorities for proper disposition./PN
