ILOILO City – A former security guard was arrested in a drug operation on P.C. Barracks Road, Barangay Parara Sur, Tigbauan, Iloilo.
Mark Serra, 39, of Iloilo City, sold a sachet of suspected shabu for P20,000 to a police poseur buyer at 1:06 p.m. yesterday. Further recovered was 120 grams of suspected shabu valued at P816,000.
“The suspect was too elusive, and it took two months of surveillance before he was arrested,” Police Major Harold Rendora of the Iloilo Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) told Panay News.
Serra was allegedly operating in the entire 1st District, added Rendora.
Serra was detained at the Tigbauan Municipal Police Station and will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
