ILOILO City – A retired member of the Armed Forces of the Philippines was arrested for arson and assault in Barangay Poblacion, Tapaz, Capiz.
On Monday, Leo Glumaid, 49, of Barangay Taft, Tapaz was taken to the town’s police station. Around 8:30 a.m., the police served the suspect’s two arrest warrants.
The arrest warrant for arson was issued by Judge Judith Orendain-Tonogbanua of the Regional Trial Court while that for direct assault was issued by Judge Sebastino Baguio of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court.
These two criminal cases were slapped against Glumaid last year./PN
