Getting a home in a province is like giving you a sweet reward to enjoy. This pandemic allows everyone to stay at home and enjoy your time with your loved ones. For some who believe living in the province is boring and dull, that’s not true – Megaworld Corporation, a real estate company, makes sure to give the Negrenses a township that you could experience an urban life yet with a provincial vibe.
There are two exciting places to look at in Megaworld projects in Negros Occidental. The Northhill Gateway, a 53-hectare project found at the boundary of Talisay and Bacolod. Another one is the Upper East with a 34-hectare development in Bacolod City.
In Northhill Gateway, Megaworld will build the first McDonald’s NXTGen store in Bacolod as well as the first in Western Visayas and will be located in front of Forbes Hill.
Forbes Hill is part of the 53-hectare Northill Gateway township of Megaworld. Its township is partly Talisay and partly Bacolod. But most of the township is within the Bacolod side.
The McDonald’s store will have the “largest al fresco area”, and the first-ever branch in the Visayas with a Bike & Dine facility – these are bike racks with dining ledges that allow bikers to dine beside their bike while it is safely locked on the rack.
The view is also picturesque, surrounded by the sugarcane plantations and Negros Mountain ranges. A feast to your eyes when the weather is fine. Just simply seat there while eating your favorite burger and fries will take your stress and anxiety away.
Also, Forbes Hill, strategically located beside the Bacolod Welcome Marker near the airport, has its McCafe, and a state-of-the-art Drive-Thru facility using a hand-held ordering system.
Coming to Forbes Hill, you will find the European-inspired giant fountain just outside the main gate. It’s just like while entering the township you are being purified. Because a fountain symbolizes life, truth, change, and water. The water itself is the symbol of purification.
Christmas is coming; the development will light up in Christmas colors. That will make the township more festive.
While, Forbes Hill Clubhouse sits on almost half a hectare of land and it’s operational now. Lot owners can already use the amenities, which include a basketball court, ballroom, function rooms, fitness center, game and entertainment room, swimming pool, and lounge, among others. You don’t need to go or drive to another place because everything you need is under your reach.
This 15-hectare Forbes Hill village is now 90% sold. Houses are now being built with a minimum lot size of 449 square meters and a maximum lot size is 861 square meters, with options to combine adjacent lots.
If village life is not a cup of your tea, your next best choice is a condo-style living in Bacolod City. The development is called Upper East. This is the first condo development of Megaworld in Bacolod City. One Regis is now completed, and the Two Regis is under construction. The third condo tower, One Manhattan has already broken ground.
Township infrastructure such as streetlights has also been installed along Upper East Avenue already.
Upper East Avenue is Upper East’s 8-lane main avenue that connects Lopez Jaena Street to Circumferential Road. It’s completed already, and within the year, the road will open along Circumferential Road.
Love to shops till you drop, Lopue’s Annex Mall inside Upper East is your choice! The mall is already completed. Condo living will is wonderful and easier in Upper East.
Additionally, the company also will build a themed Showroom, showcasing a design reminiscent of the area’s rich history as a former sugar central (Bacolod-Murcia Milling Company), along with a park and garden. That will serve as an attraction to buyers and locals, too.
This will be the biggest Megaworld project so far in Negros Occidental. These two developments will represent the Bacolod City beauty. The company aims to build a home for “Negrosanon” and help them realize Megaworld projects are worth to invest to./PN
