ILOILO – The family of a notorious akyat-bahay recently shot to death in Oton, Iloilo is not keen on filing charges.
Reymart Cinco, alias “Lupin”, was a resident of Barangay Talongadian, Santa Barbara, Iloilo. He was had records of theft and robbery in the province and city of Iloilo.
Punong Barangay Edsel Sumayo of Barangay Talongadian, Santa Barbara, confirmed that the Cinco family will not be filing charges against still unidentified assassins of the victim.
Cinco was the second of four siblings.
On Monday, he was found lying with a gunshot wound on his head and injuries on different parts of his body around 12:30 a.m. in Barangay Pulo Maestra Vita, Oton, Iloilo.
The Oton municipal police, together with the Oton Search and Rescue Team (OSART), recovered empty shells of a .45 caliber firearm which was believed used to kill the victim./PN
