THE fans of both bands are hyped up already.
This was after Parokya ni Edgar and Kamikazee made a surprise announcement that they are working on a new song together.
It was revealed via an Instagram photo featuring Parokya ni Edgar’s Chito Miranda with members of Kamikazee, including Jay Contreras.
There appears to be no title for the track yet, but Miranda did tease: “Sobrang excited kami na marinig ninyo ‘yung ginagawa namin.”
Kamikazee, in their own announcement, wrote: “Masaya lang talaga ‘pag nagkakasama. Abangan.”
This is the first collaboration between the two bands since they worked on a cover of an APO Hiking Society classic 13 years ago.
Prior to that, their most well-known team up was a 2005 song titled “The Ordertaker,” a parody of System of a Down hits. (ABS-CBN)
