ILOLO City – Police nabbed a farmer facing murder charges in Barangay Guibongan, Miagao, Iloilo.
The 37-year-old Romeo Esmediana had been hiding from authorities for about eleven years.
Esmediana – resident of Barangay Bulalacao, Sibalom, Antique – was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 5:30 a.m. on April 20.
Judge Domingo Diamante of the Regional Trial Court Branch 67 issued the warrant dated April 15, 2009.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Miagao police station.
NO bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
