BACOLOD City – A farmer was found dead in an irrigation canal in Barangay Dulao, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
The 51-year-old resident Rogelio Vargas was believed to have been electrocuted.
His body was discovered around 11:30 p.m. on March 13.
According to the police, Vargas accidentally touched a hanging live wire while harvesting vegetables.
The body was brought to a local mortuary for a “post mortem” examination./PN
