ILOILO – A 52-year-old farmer succumbed to multiple hack wounds after he was attacked near his home in Barangay Omio, Lemery town.
Ney Palma Parcon was discovered lifeless by several residents early Monday morning, December 16, according to Staff Sergeant Randy Magno of the Lemery Municipal Police Station.
Prior to the incident, Parcon’s relative reportedly heard him screaming and calling for help, suggesting a struggle moments before his death.
As of this writing, authorities were still investigating the incident to identify the suspect and uncover the motive behind the gruesome attack.
The Lemery police also appealed to the public for any information that may assist in solving the case./PN
