BACOLOD City – After killing his wife and two men, a farmer stabbed himself in Sitio Exodus, Barangay Crossing Magallon, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Moises Padilla police station officer-in-charge Chief Inspector Allan Reloj identified the farmer as the 53-year-old resident Rogelio Buenafe.
From what the police gathered so far, Vicente Amar Jr. and Rafael Racal got injured for trying to pacify Buenafe who stabbed his wife Regina, 44, using a knife around 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
After wounding the three, Buanafe also stabbed himself three times on the stomach, police said.
Amar, Racal and Regina sustained stab wounds and were rushed to the Ignacio Lacson Arroyo Sr. Memorial District Hospital where they were currently under treatment.
Buenafe was brought to the same hospital but later transferred to a hospital in Bacolod City where he expired, police said.
Moises Padilla police were still determining Buenafe’s motive in stabbing his wife./PN
