BACOLOD City – A farmer was shot and stabbed to death in Barangay Quezon, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
The 70-year-old resident Godofredo Sacare died of gunshot and stab wounds on the body, a police report showed.
According to police investigators, an unidentified suspect stabbed and peppered Sacare with bullets around 5 p.m. on Monday.
Officers of the San Carlos City police station have yet to identify the suspect and the motive in the incident./PN
