ILOILO – Two homemade 12-gauge shotguns were confiscated from a farmer in an entrapment operation of the police in in Barangay Del Pilar, Barotac Viejo town on Monday.
Taken to the Barotac Viejo police station, the 55-year-old Hermanio Aperong faces two charges: violation of the election gun ban and illegal possession of firearms.
Aperong was arrested at around 5:30 p.m. He transacted with an undercover police officer who paid P3,700 for the two homemade shotguns./PN
