BACOLOD City – A 64-year-old father charged with raping his 15-year-old daughter was arrested in Purok Sampaguita, Barangay To-oy, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental on Jan. 19.
Leopoldo Villarosa was a resident of La Castellana, Negros Occidental and his town’s No. 8 most wanted man.
Joint elements of La Castellana and Himamaylan police stations effected the suspect’s arrest.
The warrant of arrest was issued by Acting Judge Reynaldo Alon of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 63 (La Carlota City) issued on June 23, 2009.
No bail was recommended for the suspect’s temporary liberty.
According to police, the alleged rape happened in 2005.
Villarosa was detained at the La Castellana municipal police station./PN
