AKLAN – A father struck his son with a bolo on Monday evening, May 20, in Barangay Archangel Sur, Balete tow.
The 65-year-old alias “Junior” and his 24-year-old son “Ben” were both drunk during the incident, Balete police said.
According to the Balete police investigation, when he arrived home the son confronted his father for allegedly yelling at him.
A heated argument later ensued, which prompted the father to get his bolo and hit his son twice on the forehead and left shoulder.
Police said the son was brought to the hospital while his father was taken into custody by the Balete police station./PN
