ILOILO City – Three drug suspects were caught in an entrapment operation in Barangay Poblacion, Kalibo, Aklan yesterday.
They were the 19-year-old Jamaica Cillo of Panay, Capiz and Roxas City residents Michael Adrias, 32, and Angelica Aranza, 26, a police report showed.
The three allegedly sold two sachets of suspected shabu to an undercover police officer for P5,000 around 4:40 a.m. on Jan. 20.
The sting operation was staged amid the celebration of the 2019 Ati-Atihan Festival.
When frisked, two more sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from the suspects.
According to the police, Adrias and Aranza were both surrenderees under the Philippine National Police’s “Oplan Tokhang.”/PN
