Festive Walk Iloilo is weaving joy this holiday season with the launch of Pagtililingub Christmas celebration, marked by the lighting of its 20 ft. giant Christmas tree decorated with native materials and beautiful weaving by the Mat Weavers of Concepcion, Iloilo.
Leading the festivities were the Acting Mayor of Iloilo City Hon. Mayor Jeffrey Ganzon, Regional Director of DOT for Region 6 Crisanta Marlene Rodriquez, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls’ Cluster General Manager Mikee Vivo, and Festive Walk Iloilo General Manager Karmela Jesena.
The launch event featured a series of proud local festivities, beginning with the colorful Tultugan Festival. This lively performance highlighted the joyful sounds of the Tultug, a bamboo instrument that serves as a tribute to the abundance of Filipino bamboo.
Also taking center stage were the performances by the Irong Irong Dance Company, who captivated the audience with rich rhythms of folk music and traditional dances, immersing everyone in the festive spirit of Iloilo.
