ILOILO City – Pacifying a fight in Barangay Ngingi-an, Bingawan, Iloilo proved injurious to a man.
Nolan Casis was stabbed. He was taken to the Calinog District Hospital.
The suspect, Jessie Somejo, was arrested. The Bingawan police took him in custody, a police report showed.
Nolan Casis, Somejo and Rene Casis were having a drinking spree at Somejo’s house at around 10 p.m. on Jan. 29 when a fight that followed a heated argument ensued between Somejo and Rene Casis.
Nolan Casis was pacifying them when Somejo stabbed him on the right side of his neck, the police report stated./PN
