Final day of 2018 Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses today

ILOILO City – The first series of the Regional Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses is now on its last day.

The theme for the third day of the program is based on the record in the Bible at Psalm 27: 14, which states, “Be courageous and strong of heart. Yes, hope in Jehovah.”

In the first half of the morning session, there will be a symposium that will feature seven future events that will require courage. Additionally, there will be a public Bible discourse with the theme “The Resurrection Hope Imparts Courage – How?” This will be followed by a 30-munite summary of The Watchtower.

A feature film titled “The Story of Jonah – A Lesson in Courage and Mercy” which is based on the record in the Bible at Jonah 1-4 will be shown in the afternoon of the convention program.

The three-day program has been a part of pure worship for many years. It gives us opportunities to encourage one another to be joyful and to stay faithful. Thus, everyone is welcome to this year’s convention to benefit from the practical advice that’s contained in the Bible.

The convention is free of charge and open to all. Seats are free and no collection will be taken.

The second series of this three-day program is scheduled next week, July 20 to 22, 2018. The Friday and Saturday programs will start at 8:20 a.m. and will end at 3:50 p.m. On the other hand, the Sunday program will end at 2:50 p.m. The convention will be at the Iloilo Convention Center (ICC), Megaworld Boulevard, Iloilo Business Park, Mandurriao, Iloilo City.
