ROXAS City – More than P70,000 worth of damage was inflicted by a fire that razed three houses in Barangay Banica in this city at around 8 a.m. on Monday, May 20.
The houses, all made of light materials, were owned by Rolando Rull Sr., Rona Rull and Angelica Dela Cruz.
Senior Fire Officer 1 Reynold Agda of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Roxas City said the fire allegedly originated from the dirty kitchen of Rona R.
The fire quickly spread to neighboring houses due to strong winds, added Agda.
The BFP-Roxas City has not recorded any injured persons in the said incident.
As of this writing, the BFP-Roxas City was still investigating the cause of the fire./PN
