ILOILO City – An evening fire razed a house in Barangay San Isidro, Jaro district on Sunday, July 14.
The house owned by Norma Labos was totally destroyed, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Jaro.
Authorities said Labos went to church with her daughter while her 18-year-old son, a person with disability (PWD), was left at home.
The BFP-Jaro said a fire broke out at 8:40 p.m. and a “fire out” was declared around 8:54 p.m.
Labos’ son was rescued by the residents.
As of this writing, BFP-Jaro was still investigating the cause of the blaze. Property damage has also yet to be determined./PN
