ANTIQUE – A fire razed a house in Sitio Lugutan, Barangay Igbonglo, San Jose de Buenavista town around 9:19 p.m. on Friday, August 23.
The town’s Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) estimated the damage at the house of barangay Kagawad Juliet Estaquio at P105,495.
Residents formed a bucket brigade to help firefighters put out the fire, according to Fire Officer 2 Freddie Wave Tamba.
Tamba added that a substandard electric fan that overheated was believed to be the cause of a fire./PN
