ILOILO City – Fire razed a house in Project 5, Barangay Sooc, Arevalo district.
Tuesday’s blaze started in the living area of the Majometano family at around 9:45 a.m.
Bureau of Fire Protection firefighters augmented by local residents placed it under control after almost an hour.
A “fire out” was declared at around 11 a.m. after a mopping up operation.
The estimated cost of damage reached at P5,000.
Arson investigators said the fire was caused by faulty electrical connections./PN
