DUMARAO, Capiz – A morning fire razed the house of a senior citizen in Sitio Hansol, Barangay Lawaan here on Thursday.
It started from a room, investigation of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) showed.
The 71-year-old Rebecca Dampog owned the house.
Initially, smoke allegedly came out from an electric outlet. Fire possibly crept quickly because of the light materials near it.
The BFP estimated the damage to property to have reached P200,000.
Dampog failed to secure any of her belongings but no injuries were reported./PN
