ILOILO City – Fire gutted a house yesterday in Barangay South Mansaya, Lapuz district.
The blaze started in the stockroom of Ramon Villodrer Jr.’s house around 7:45 a.m. on Feb. 2, a police report showed.
Villodrer’s house was partially damaged. Properties worth about P30,000 were lost, according to fire investigators.
Villodrer’s children were playing matchsticks which set the house on fire, they added.
The blaze was declared under control at 8:09 a.m./PN
