KALIBO, Aklan – Fire razed a portion of the barangay hall in Barangay Ogsip, Libacao, Aklan.
Senior Fire Officer 1 Ricky Domingo, chief of the Intelligence and Investigation Division of Aklan’s Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), said they were still investigating the incident, which happened on around 7:30 p.m. last Saturday.
“Our fire personnel in Libacao are still investigating what caused the fire or was there a foul play,” Domingo said.
Fire destroyed the front area of the barangay hall, which includes a room.
The BFP have yet to determine the cost of damage that the blaze left as of this writing.
The newly elected village chief of Barangay Ogsip will give P15,000 to anyone who could provide information that will lead to who or what caused the fire./PN
