ILOILO City – Thirty-five grams of suspected shabu valued at around P238,000 were confiscated from a fish vendor in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Tabuc Suba, Jaro district at 5:50 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21.
The 34-year-old alias “Richie”, a resident of the said barangay, was detained at the custodial facility of Iloilo City Police Station 9 (ICPS9).
He is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
According to Captain Gimel Acuesta, officer-in-charge of ICPS9, aside from selling fish, the suspect also allegedly engaged in drug pushing./PN
