ILOILO City – Police arrested a fisherman in Barangay Bancal, Carles, Iloilo over a drug offense.
The 38-year-old Jakie Miz Aguerre of Barangay Alipata, Carles was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 9:20 a.m. on Monday.
The court issued the warrant in relation to a drug sale charge Aguerre faces.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Carles municipal police station.
A P1,000 bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
