ILOILO City – A flower vase thrown at her by neighbors caused her injuries, a resident of Barangay Cubay, Jaro district told the police.
The 23-year-old Jayfel Joy Lebrilla sustained abrasions on the arm and leg, a police report stated.
Lebrilla identified her attackers as Corazon Sucaldito, 65, and daughter Michelle, 34.
Lebrilla told the police she reprimanded the latter two about their canal at around 11 a.m. on Dec. 2. It was not immediately clear what about the canal she was complaining about.
An irked Corazon then “orally defamed” her. Corazon and Michelle then threw a flower vase at her, said Lebrilla.
Lebrilla was referred to the West Visayas State University Medical Center for the treatment of her wounds.
The incident was referred to the barangay lupon, the police report stated./PN
