BACOLOD City – Ambulant vendors in this city were reminded to observe the rules, particularly on allowed vending areas.
City Ordinance No. 1009, Series of 2022, covers peddlers plying their trade using stalls or mobile vehicles such as food trucks, motorcycles, tricycles, trisikads, and the like, selling food and non-food products.
The ordinance does not cover those located inside public markets who have established business locations, have permits, and are paying appropriate business taxes to the city government.
The following allowable vending spaces and schedules, as stated in the ordinance, shall be observed:
* from Gallardo Street, corner of La Salle Avenue, up to University of Saint La Salle Gate 1 (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
* North Capitol Road up to the corner of Aguinaldo Street (6 p.m. to 10 p.m.)
* Gatuslao Street, bounded by Jolibee Luzuriaga and corner Ballesteros (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
* Gonzaga Street, bounded by Amar Plaza and Chinky’s (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
* Luzuriaga Street, bounded by PNB and Greenwich (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
* inside Bacolod City Public Plaza (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
* Bonifacio Street (4 p.m. to 10 p.m.)
* South side of Ballesteros Street (8. a.m. to 9 p.m.)/PN
