BACOLOD City – A food delivery rider figured in a road crash on Araneta Street, Barangay Tangub.

The 54-year-old Rene Caceres, a resident of the village, sustained fatal head and body injuries.

He was rushed to the South Bacolod General Hospital in this city where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”

From what the Police Station 8 so far gathered, Caceres was navigating the road when his motorcycle collided with a Mazda car driven by Charlie Alcocino, 49, around 4:15 p.m. on Dec. 12.

It was, however, still unclear what circumstances led to the collision./PN
