ILOILO City – Narry Francelizo was charged with violation of the Revised Forestry Code of the Philippines.
Officers served him a warrant of arrest in his house in Barangay Lincud, Dingle, Iloilo, a police report showed.
Francelizo was taken to the Dingle police station after his arrest at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
The court set the bail bond for his temporary liberty at P40,000.
The Revised Forestry Code of the Philippines (Presidential Decree 705) lays down the basic principles of forest management and conservation, makes provision for the administration of forestry, the survey and classification of lands for purposes of forestry, and the use of forest resources./PN
