ILOILO – Four houses caught fire in Barangay Poblacion, Leon town around 1:30 a.m. yesterday.
Two houses owned by Teresita Cajayon and Gabriel Cajayon were destroyed, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Leon.
It added that the houses owned by other family members Alex Cajayon and Anastasia Calumno Cajayon were partially gutted.
Maria Luna Cajayon and Jade Estabillo, meanwhile, sustained burns on their bodies.
BFP-Leon investigation showed the fire started in the jeepney’s battery used to charge the solar light while the total cost of damage has yet to be determined./PN
