BACOLOD City – Four personnel including three lawyers and an employee of the Provincial Legal Office (PLO) of Negros Occidental are under investigation for some complaints.
Provincial Legal Officer Atty. Alberto Nellas Jr. confirmed this, saying a businessman has filed a complaint against these PLO employees.
According to Nellas, the businessman claimed he went to the PLO office but was not attended to, and that nobody was around.
Nellas also bared that there were complaints for alleged tardiness and absences and alleged tampering of daily time records against the concerned personnel.
He said Atty. John Michael Yee has already resigned from the office last week.
Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, on the other hand, said that the four PLO personnel have been served with the “show cause order.”
He named the other personnel as Atty. Ernie Magaspag, Atty. Ariel Cuaycong and Warlito Bagyo.
Nellas said at present the PLO has only eight personnel with the resignation of Yee.
The PLO personnel subject of the complaint could not be reached for comment as of press time./PN
