ILOILO City – A newly released person deprived of liberty (PDL) was arrested anew on Saturday at around 4:45 p.m. in an anti-drug operation on M.H. Del Pilar Street, Barangay Taal, Molo district.
An undercover police officer of the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU) bought from Lorenzo a big sachet of shabu for P14,000.
Seven more sachets were recovered valued at P136,000.
Erespe was detained at the Molo police station and would be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
According to RDEU chief, Police Lieutenant Colonel Mark Anthony Darroca, Erespe was previously arrested by the Mandurriao police station for illegal drug possession in 2019 and he was released from jail sometime in January 2022 through a plea bargaining agreement./PN
